Secret of Cost-Effective Networks
I
can't tell you how many times I've seen small business owners
go out and buy the cheapest computers, printers and other
devices they could find, only to wind up paying disproportionately—with
money and with their valuable time—to try to make
them do what they want them to do.

Much
of what you pay for when you implement a sound network is
proper organization and manageability of your business' information
resources.
That
investment pays for itself many times over during the life
of the system—as your staff can work without computer-related
interruptions; as user settings, email and other resources
can be easily modified to meet your needs; as storage can
be easily expanded if necessary; and, of course, as critical
systems like antivirus, Internet security and data backup
function properly, preventing really costly incidents.
Often
I also find that, beyond its direct effect in facilitating
staff's work, a smoothly-functioning computer network actually
enhances morale—including that of the business' owners!
